About us

The ArtEssence Dance Ensemble is a small community whose members have a thousand ties to the city of Székesfehérvár. They all became acquainted with the rich world of Hungarian folk dance and folk music here. Although they belong to different generations, they share a common bond in that Hungarian folklore is an important part of their lives. This is reflected in their regular rehearsals and practice sessions, as well as their study of archival music and film recordings. In addition to their preparations, they also have the opportunity to present and promote the values of Hungarian folk traditions at performances both at home and abroad.
